Helping DS to wipe better

Just wondered if anyone had any tips to help DS get better at wiping himself after the toilet. He starts school in reception, and whilst he is quite independent, he hasn’t mastered the art of wiping himself without smearing it over his bum or not getting it properly clean, as obviously there will be no one to ‘check’ whether he has done it properly

They don't like to tell you but because the reception year is part of the early years they can help your child wipe. They don't really like to but will if the child asks for help.

So if you child need more time to learn, or a quick check after, it might be good to keep that in mind.

It’s going ok thanks. There are days when there is a bit of staining on his pants when he returns from school, but nothing too gross. I guess practice makes perfect. Thanks for checking back
