13 month old biting

I know they do bite on things when teething but attempts to distract with teething toys and the like hasn’t worked - she seems to prefer human flesh Hmm

It’s pretty much impossible to stop her and she also keeps trying to bite her brother as well. Is there anything I can do other than saying ‘no’ firmly? I know she won’t understand much at this age but my arm is covered in bruises and bite marks.

There's not much you can do.

A yelp of pain sometimes frightens them out of doing it again. Otherwise it's just 'no' and move away/put her down if you're carrying her. Try and get ahead of it and if you see her going on for a bite, do a quick "no biting, you can chew this" and give her a teething toy.

Make sure she has range of teethers including some that have been in the freezer, give her yoghurt lollies to suck too.
