Unsettled baby- feeding

DD is nearly 8 weeks old and BF with one formula or expressed bottle per day. Rocky start when I was v ill after birth but has gone from 9th to 50th centile for weight so doing well. Recently we have had issues with squirming, grunting and general unsettledness/crying lots aswell as a lot of farts (her not me!) She's always been a bit of a snacker, feeding every 1-2 hours for no longer than 15 minutes a bit longer gaps at night between 2 and 3 hours generally.
I asked the HV about her crying and being uncomfortable and she said it's normal for her age we have tried Gripe water and Infacol but didn't seem to make a difference.
She doesn't scream for hours on end but we do have half hour periods where she is inconsolable, she will also headbutt and play with my nipple a lot something she never used to do.
I was planning on slowly transitioning to FF around 8 weeks and now don't know what to do for the best, if this will make her worse. Any thoughts/experience welcome is this normal or should I be investigating allergies etc?

Might it be too much air in her tummy. 2 months is generally a bad month for that. Maybe try a tummy massage.

@OneRealRosePlayer thanks yes possibly she is very windy and writhes a lot.
Today I have given a 50/50 BM/Formula bottle and a couple of feeds from me and she has been much more settled. May be a coincidence but hopefully I've found something that helps.
