My DD has suspected Hand Foot and Mouth but is not unwell (yet) and I was wondering what the etiquette is about staying away from other people? She can still go to nursery (sounds like most of them have it already anyway) but I guess swimming class on Friday is a no go? We are also due to meet our NCT group next week (will have been 10 days at least since spots appeared) but wouldn’t want to risk infecting others in the group (one has a tiny baby). Is it safe by then? From what I can see it’s most contagious in the first week but can be contagious longer?
