I know it's the dreaded C word.
But I have a first meeting with a mediator regarding access and we can't seem to agree on Christmas.
We each have four children from our previous marriages. So it's really important that it's fair.
Our daughter will be a year old. This is something that would be put in place long term.
I currently have alternate Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day with my ex husband. It's been like this for the last 14 years and has worked well. Baby's father does not want this.
I thought maybe Christmas Eve 10am until Christmas Day 4pm this year and then next year Christmas Day 4pm until 10am on the 27th December.
Does this sound reasonable? Also how do you split birthdays?
