Potty training but do not want to buy pull ups - anyone tried Smart Nappy?

We have been successfully potty training DD1 and this is going really well. The only thing is, she is 2, and a small 2 at that. If I buy pull ups they are just a bit big and end up working there way down. I was on the mothercare website the other day and they have these Smart Nappies.

Do you think trying a re-usable nappy is a good idea? If so, should I try the Smart Nappy or can anyone recommend a good-fitting re-usable nappy, that allows DD to feel wet?

Any I buy, I can use for DD2 when she is older so cost doesn't matter so much.

the bright bots training pants are good, and look quite like real pants which can be an advantage for the dc. They come in nice choice of colours too.
