Baby growing up too fast....

My DD is only 7 months old but i think she is growing up so fast!!
Ds seemed to be a newborn for ever but she is just flying up...she is a lot more energetic than DS at that age and very clued into things and she looks like an 11 month old..
I really feel like her babyhood is passing me by....maybe i'm getting broody again...so soon would be mad right??? And we have agreed 2 is enough but i just feel my baby is nearly a toddler now and i love her so much but maybe another would'nt be such a bad thing??? Tell me i'm mad!!

I say go for another - it will be great for them to share the burden of 'who's going to spend Christmas with you this year' when they're adults!!

I'm just being naughty - I adore babies.

I was the same with dd3 (nearly 7 months) and now im 3 months pregnant with dc4

I know what you mean. My DS (DC1) was never a baby. From 6 weeks he looked like 3-4mths and acted like it, by 6-7mths he was crawling and feeding himself and at 10mths he already had some words and lots of animal sounds. It was great because he was my first and very easy and I just assumed that was pretty normal.

Then I had DD who was like a newborn till a year old! Didn't roll, crawl or try to communicate. She suddenly turned from a baby to a toddler between 16 and 19mths.

No.3 is due on Friday- I'll let you know what it's like!

I feel the same about my 8mth old DS. He has always had a lot of dark hair, and also he was given a lot of clothes as gifts when he was born which were mostly cool little jeans, rugby shirts etc, so he never really looked like a newborn! Now he's getting more independent (wanting to feed himself, drink from beaker etc) and trying to crawl, and I really feel like he's more toddler than baby now! I also stopped breast feeding at 6 months, which I really miss now, as I feel like he is no longer so dependent on just me.

Was going to leave it a couple of years before trying for number 2, but not so sure now....
