Not sure if this is the right place to post this. sorry if I’m in the wrong thread.

The last two days my 10 week only has randomly started crying out with a terrified look on his face. He’s definitely become more aware of his surroundings the last two weeks. The face he makes is horrible to see but he stops almost as soon as he’s picked up and comforted.

He sleeps well through the night, but the last two evenings he’s done this soon after nodding off for a nap. This afternoon he’s done it again whilst he was very much awake and smiling at us only 5 minutes before.

it’s really come out of nowhere. He’s smiling and happy again now? We’re upset to see him like this but all I can see online is sleep phases/cycles or development but this time he wasn’t sleeping at all.

any advice would be great!

Could it be colic? It’s the only way a baby can react if having sudden pain. One of mine had it OP and the crying was awful.
