My toddler has been vomiting on and off since last Tuesday. He has been able to keep some stuff down and sip water, no fever and has wet enough nappies. However I’m more concerned about his behaviour and his unusual lack of energy. We took him to urgent care last night and typically he perked up and we were told by the doctor that there’s nothing wrong with him. She didn’t even examine him just sort of made us feel embarrassed for coming in. If I had been told that there’s a bug going around and it’s normal for him to be very wiped out for this long then I would have had some peace of mind. But like I said we were just dismissed. He spends most of the day crying like he’s in pain but he’s not able to communicate yet. I’ve managed to get an appointment for tomorrow but just wondered if anyone else had similar experiences of this change in character and a long recovery period. I’ll be worried until the morning so any peace of mind would be great.
