My 3 year old DDs hair is fairly long, below shoulders but it’s so so fine, she has very little of it and her individual hairs are very fine. It has different layers where is has grown at different rates I guess. I’m not sure when I should get it cut? Do I just get it cut now and hope it keeps growing and getting thicker.
And with washing, should I be using just a normal shampoo and little bit of conditioner? Then supermarket baby/toddler shampoo seems to dry it out a lot, so I’ve been using my husband’s Aldi hydrating shampoo and little bit of conditioner on ends.
I don’t go to bed with wet hair because it’s meant to be ‘bad’ for your hair, so I’ve been blow drying my DDs on a low heat till semi dry just so it’s dry in time for bed. But then it’s heat? So should I be using some heat protectant?!
Basically everything the internet says I should do for healthy thicker hair I figure I should do for her but then she’s only 3 and I don’t wanna be using products etc I shouldn’t be?!
any help on what people do?!
