Vomiting toddler

My 2yo has been vomiting on and off since Tuesday night and has had a bit of diarrhoea but the last stool was a very pale clay like texture. He had a bit of a fever on wed but it went with calpol. Today he seems to be in pain and has pretty much been crying on and off all day which is very out of character for him. He’s also very lethargic and refusing to eat or drink.

He’s not verbal yet so can’t communicate if he has pain. I’m not sure if this is all normal - if it was me with a stomach bug I’d be the same (not hungry or wanting to do much), or if I should be worried. My
husband, ever the optimist, is worried that the vomiting without other symptoms could mean something more serious. He’s gone to work now so I’m on my own and a bit on edge. Has anyone experienced this with their kids? DS has been sick a few times in the past but usually seems to bounce back quite quickly.

Any advice/ similar experiences would be greatly appreciated x

If its been since Tuesday, odd colour stools and lots of pain then get them checked out now.
