I'm a mother of two under two and exhausted as youngest has been up multiple times lately.

Going back to work in a few weeks and was just wondering what you do to relax in your down time away from kids/OH?

Has anyone ever stayed in a hotel for the evening and just had a total relaxing day to themselves? I've often dreamt of this but would feel guilty 😂

Would love to hear what others do 🥰

I used to go to the main library in the city centre, take out a book and then go to their little cafe and read it with a coffee or hot chocolate. The cafe was styled like a museum and it was so relaxing to just sit there and read for a while.

Run
Lie in a bath with the radio on and door locked
Retreat to the greenhouse

Read. I love reading and obviously don't get anywhere near as much time to do it than I did pre kids. I'll either chill in the garden with a book if the weather is nice or run myself a night hot bath and read in there

Husband gets me a spa night or weekend away at Christmas.

Day to day I just like to have a long bath with an audiobook or watch a good movie or tv series with a tub of ice cream!
