Do most of you do it twice a day etc or less frequent also what do you use to wash their faces (products if any)?

11 week old so try not to use fragranced things

Surely you just wipe as needed with a wet flannel/cloth?

Pineappleprep · 04/08/2024 15:49

At 11 weeks you don't need to use anything other than warm water and cotton balls or a very soft flannel. With both my children I would clean their faces in the morning and evening, occasionally during the day if they got a bit messy after a feed

My child is nearly 3 and I've never washed his face with anything more than a soft flannel and warm water.

Yes, I think this is the norm.

Bamboo facecloth and warm water. As needed.

Cotton pad and cooled boiled water but I wouldn't feel the need to do that daily just if needed.

Cotton pad and water if really mucky but usually just mopped up dribble and spit up with a muslin cloth at that stage. Then used bamboo cloths and water from weaning age but could have used them earlier.

Just a flannel as part of a bath? Babies don’t need bath or cleaning products.
