Pop up tents for the beach (3 month old)

I assume a pop up tent (SPF50 etc) would be okay for shade for a 3 month old for the beach?

It would be fine, but at that age we simply brought our pushchair onto the beach with an extra large clip on shade which covered their whole body. Saved us carrying around another item.

Thanks! Does anyone else think they’re okay?

I’d just use a parasol. The problem with the tents is they get very hot unless it’s a cool day (like if you need a sun shade, probably too hot, especially for a baby). And you as an adult can’t easily sit upright in them, so for feeding, playing, etc, you have to bring baby out into the sun anyway. They aren’t easily staked down in sand/pebbles either so might blow away on a windy day. Much better to just use a shade of some sort.
