Symbols on Pampers baby dry nappies?

Pampers have updated their nappies, they now have cartoons on the front and back, and on the band where the tabs go they have a cross and plus symbol on either side of the front strip. I have googled and searched Pampers website, and looked all over packet but nowhere explains what the symbols mean? I assume it’s to do with sizing and where the tabs should be, but help a mother out…?

The crosses or plus signs are where the tabs should be for a perfect fit

But then what’s the difference between the plus and cross, and where is the yellow line meant to line up. So many symbols!
