Nappies - gel crystals leak

Hi!
I have a little girl and noticed that the gel crystals in her nappy have come out a couple of times and I’ve had to wipe them off her during changing.
Worried that if any got inside her body if this is harmful!!! Any ideas?

assuming no because obviously they are made to be near this area but still a worry and would like to hear others thoughts?

What nappies are you using? Can't say I've ever experienced that and I think over the years I've tried just about every nappy brand on the market!

Aldi! I’m wondering if it’s a dodgy batch as only happening with the pull ups we have just bought

the only way they will have got inside her is if shes eaten them i guess. im not sure how gently i can say this, but how long are you leaving the nappies on for them to be so sodden the material is splitting and the crystals are coming out?

no definitely a question to ask - they were both overnight ones so pretty heavy. Hasn’t happened to ones in the daytime when more regularly changed
