What to expect following 8 week vaccinations

Baby is due his 8 week vaccinations in 2 weeks. I want to be prepared for what to expect following the vaccinations, as in will baby be very unsettled? Will he be sleepy? Will he likely be up all night?

I still have a stash of colostrum in the freezer. Would it be beneficial for baby to have a bottle(s) of colostrum afterwards?

Aww please don't worry about the jabs, they are worse for us than they are for the babies! Take calpol to the appointment, the nurse can help you give a dose of calpol immediately afterwards and then you can give further doses later if needed. Mine cried for a few minutes and then was just quite sleepy for the rest of the day and was completely fine the next day. I can't imagine you would need colostrum for any reason.

A total non-event. Neither of mine even cried. No fever. Completely normal.

My first was fine, maybe a little bit sleepy and my second got an upset tummy but was fine soon after. Hope your little one is OK after them too

My son was unsettled after his but Calpol helped and he was very sleepy. He wasn't up in the night any more than his usual and he was his normal self the following day

My DS cried when he was jabbed, didn’t notice any ill effects after that! Colostrum will certainly do no harm though. Good luck x

Aww bless, as someone else has said it’s worse for us then it is for them because they are so tiny at 8 weeks.
But I think we had a bit of a temp that was controlled with calpol and wanted constant cuddles but apart from that it was fine.
