Winding

Trying to keep this short -

My baby is 5 weeks old today and is a nightmare for winding he screams soon as you sit him up or take the bottle out of his mouth to do so. Any tips?

weve been told off doctors and HV different things, one said colic, one says reflux. Im current using carobel in his milk. Please help he’s so unsettled :( **

Have you tried The Tiger in the Tree Hold OP?

We gave ours a dummy because she cried when we took the bottle

What are their symptoms?

Colic =
it's hard to soothe or settle your baby
they clench their fists
they go red in the face
they bring their knees up to their tummy or arch their back
their tummy rumbles or they're very windy.

Reflux=
bringing up milk or being sick during or shortly after feeding
coughing or hiccupping when feeding
being unsettled during feeding
swallowing or gulping after burping or feeding
crying and not settling
not gaining weight as they're not keeping enough food down

The treatment for each is very different.
