First time mum...first party I've organised for my 5 year old.
It's at a party venue where there are limited numbers.
I asked my DS to choose 14 class friends he would like to invite. He's been to 6 parties previous and has invited all of those except one boy who he says is too loud, doesn't want to invite him etc . They aren't really friends etc...don't hang out.
So I went with the invites that he chose.
However this boys mum is friends with one of the girls we have invited. I feel a bit awkward now as I see her once a week. Nobody has asked me about the invites or anything. But this girls party is after my DS party...so we will see this boy there.
I'm not sure what to do.
It's a minefield!!!
