DD is 3 in August and having family over to celebrate but think she was hoping for more of a party (we do have a day trip out too!)

What garden games/ideas can we play with a 3yo and two 4yo to make it feel a bit special? She was maybe expecting a bouncy castle but is a lot to spend on just the three of them!

Could you put a selection of your child's toys out and they can just play together with them

How much space have you for? We have a couple of pop up play tents and some tunnels to connect them. I set them challenges and change things around. So a played "Peter rabbit" - the tunnels were secret underground tunnels and they needed to find treasure (in a box with a combination lock - I gave them one clue and the other clues were in the off a pop up tents. But Mr Tod (DH) would pop up and scare them back into the tunnels..... once they'd opened the box for the treasure Id out their snacks in the other bit, then DH had put a messy play tray in the first but while they werehaving their snacka. They thought it was great!
