Our 4 month old does 95% of her naps in our wrap carrier. It's been great for allowing us to be really flexible out and about, allows me to get stuff done in the day, and means we can get in some nice long naps. She sleeps pretty when in her cot at night, being nursed or bounced to sleep. I've watched her wake up and put herself back to sleep in the cot at night so not too worried there.
However I'm wondering if I should be trying to transition away from wrap naps and how on earth to do that? Can you tell I'm a first time mum who is overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice and am constantly worried about everything! It would be amazing to work towards a decent length nap in the cot at some point in a few months time.
It would be useful to know if anyone was in a similar situation and how you transitioned out. Or am I just over reacting and I need to chill? I feel like I'm very susceptible to thinking what we 'should' be doing rather than just enjoying what works for us... 🙄
Thanks all!
