Baby sleeps late

My baby is 3 months old, her sleep has been a whirlwind from when she was born, in the daytime no problem but at night she just wouldn't settle. The past 2 weeks she seems to have gotten herself into a bit of a routine, at the minute she'll settle around 10pm, waking a few times but self soothes and falls back asleep, she does they up until around 9am sometimes 10am. Obviously this is brilliant as I know some 3 month olds still wake throughout the night but is there a way to move the bedtime earlier so she wakes earlier in the mornings or will she do that gradually?

What time is her last nap of the day? Changing that to allow for an earlier bedtime is probably the only way, but tbh I'd probably leave her be and enjoy the sleep for now. Their sleep changes so much at this age that it'll almost certainly change (for better or worse) within a few weeks.

Do you need to change it to let you do a school run or something?

If so I’d do it gradually - wake her 15 mins earlier than usual, and then try for naps and bed 15 mins earlier. Do that for a few days then 15 mins earlier again, until you reach the time you want.

Or if you don’t really need to change it, I’d go with PPs suggestion of waiting it out until the next phase hits!

No there's no particular need for it to be honest, don't get me wrong I love that she sleeps well, I would just selfishly prefer her to go to bed earlier so I have some time in the evening with DH

Can you both go to bed earlier and have time in the morning until she hits the next sleep shift?
