8 month old sleep regression?

Hi all

My daughter is 8 & a half months old and has always been a fairly good sleeper. Typically she has a feed & goes to sleep at 6:30pm, wakes for a feed (she’s breastfed) around midnight and then sleeps right through until 6-7am. Occasionally she would wake around 4am which we’re OK with as we always felt on the whole we got a good nights sleep.

BUT in the last few weeks we have been met with what feels like a regression. There are suddenly so many false starts. Tonight for example she went down at 6:30 & has woken 4 times crying and wanting the boob to go back to sleep (it’s only 8pm). My partner rocked her back to sleep the last time.

I’m pretty sure she will be up again at least twice before midnight and in the last week she has woken every 2ish hours until finally waking up for the day around 5:30am.

What is happening???!!? Lol. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar at 8 months and does anyone have any tips?? I’m knackered!

Thank you

My 8 month old does this too. Teething / learning new skills etc etc there's a lot going on for them. It's normal (but annoying)
