What do you think of it??

We are going to get either that or the Sport version. DH wants the vibe because it's the latest and hence must be improved version. Is it all it's cracked up to be?

Mine's on order in Black/Charcoal. Due end of the month apparently. Have yet to tell DH...

Tried a Sport & sent it back for various reasons which the Vibe seems to have resolved.

Yup we've had one about 2 weeks and are VERY pleased with it. Kids are 2 (just) and 3 months old. If you have any specific questions just ping me and I'll get back to you.

The only thing that annoys me is the 3 wheeler syndrome - the front wheel turns sideways if you get it wrong going up or down a curb or step and then you have a tipping buggy on your hands - always reverse up things to be safer but it's annoying to have to do that!

Hi, you can lock the front wheel, underneath the foot rest.
I think my Vibe does the job and fits in my boot. However I am a bit picky, and was disappointed with the seat pad not being foam as it looks in the pictures. The tyres are too soft for off road billions of punctures after a walk in the woods. Jane was much better. I love the cocoon but this is only good when they are under about 4-5 months. The extra seat is small and a toddlers head will lol forwards when they sleep, it cant lay back as much as you would like if fitted on the front or back of the main seat. When on the front the extra seat does not allow fixture of the bumper bar, yet this is when you need it most. At 6 months my little one is sitting in the extra seat at the back, and my two year old is in the front. The 6 month old cannot lay back enough but the toddler can, if you want to swap them round it is hard work getting the straps through the seat pad and sleeping bags as the holes for the straps are too small for the pads (which are sewn on to the straps) so forget about changing seats when you are out an about! Forget about buying the storm cover as it is too bloody hard to fold and if you can get it in the basket you cant carry anything else.

Having said all that, it works, you can get around easily with two young kids, We took it on holiday to the new Forest and apart from getting the inner tube fixed, it was durable. Toddler was sick but the seat pad washed easily and dried quickly. It does what I wanted it too, gives me some independence! I can manage going out alone with the two kids. The buggy is easy to fold when you know how, though it does not stand alone when folded, but I just pop it straight in the boot. Nice simple system, with a few teething issues that you can get around, because it is compact and works! The kids are happy in it and slept well when out for the day so, if they are happy, I am!

We've got a sport - we considered the sport version but got put off it by the lady in the shop who said that despite the vibe being the latest one they sold many more sports - not just because they were a couple of hundred pounds cheaper (not sure if that is still the case) but that they had many more advantages. Whilst the vibe had a couple of advantages, they just weren't enough.

One of her other reasons was that when they first arrived in the country they started appearing on ebay within a week or two as people had them and didn't like them so were selling them asap while there was still a buzz and they could get a good price for them. whereas the sports that you could get on ebay tended to be much older and well loved (ie people liked them and kept them) and they took much longer to first show up on ebay.

she was the owner of the shop and said that despite the fact they were supposed to get more profit from the vibes she still preferred to sell the sports to people as she found in most cases they were what suited people better.

had a jane single buggy to start for ds1, with ds2 around now we have the sport and i love love love it - think I have used the jane twice since we have had the other one, even if just taking one of the ds out.

I tried the two side by side in a shop and found that the Sport had more headroom than the vibe in the extra ("doubles") seat.
My DD1 just fitted in the doubles seat while DD2 was in the cocoon and now that DD2 is in the doubles seat at the back of the pram she is only just fitting it. The Vibe doubles seat would have been too small on both counts.
We went for the Sport and am satisfied with it. I do believe that P&T could have tried harder and improved things better than they did for the Vibe. IMO it's not worth the price or the hype.
