Hello everyone! I'm just wanting peoples advice , my baby's finally been put on reflux milk SMA stay down reflux milk. He's had 1 bottle he was still sick a little I still hear his acid come up multiple times? does it not help straight away I've hear mixed reviews , some it's worked for sickness after the first bottle others after 3 bottles etc. how do you prepare it on a night? You need to add this milk yo Luke warm water , I normally do boiled water bottles for bed as my son only wakes up for 1 at 5am ( he's 9 weeks) but he screams instantly as he's hungry how does people make this milk it seems very complicated do it right or you get lumps at 5am I don't fancy coming downstairs for 30 mins with a screaming baby when my kids are asleep in bed

To make lukewarm immediately

if i didnt have £30 spare i'd either keep a thermos with hot boiled water and one with cooled boiled water and mix until about right

OR

Id buy a nuby rapidcool which imo is lifechanging.

Is SMA the one that needs to be in cold water? There was one my DS was on that had to be chilled because it had gelatine in it to thicken it. I just made the feeds up in advance in the end with it and stored them in the fridge.

@Fizzyjuice hi hun it says Luke warm but I just rested it on cooled down boiled water so it wasn't freezing but it wasn't warm and it dissolved fine where as in hot water it clumped like jelly so I think I'm fine as I used to make all the bottles up with boiled water cook them down and pop them in the fridge as my boy doesn't really like warm bottles x
