Where do you buy secondhand?

I'm looking to buy a secondhand bugaboo stroller. Where's the best place to buy secondhand? Has anybody tried Facebook Marketplace or eBay? Just a bit nervous, since many are collect-only and I don't want to waste time.

Facebook marketplace was a godsend.

Fb marketplace

send a few messages as then you can always spot the weirdos.

if it looks to good to be true… it is.

I've just bought a Bugaboo from Marketplace, about an hour drive away, which was not a problem as it's a town I visit anyway.
I'd ask for a video if you can, of the buggy being unfolded and collapsed and that the seat recliner, harness and brake work smoothly.
Ask for extra photos.
There's quite a few on eBay, so check seller reviews.

Thanks for your reply, what redflags should I be aware of @TemuSpecialBuy?

Thanks @Swallowdoubleandrunamile . When you picked up your stroller, was it clean? Which is better - eBay or Facebook?

We got our pram on eBay.
Take a close look at the state of the tyres and any rain covers
I didn't have a specific pram in mind and just kept an eye on prams for a few weeks until I saw one I was willing to take the plunge on.
We got a joolz geo 1 for £100 very good condition used with two babies and cost in the region of £800 new

Definitely Fb marketplace for me.
Got our second hand Out n About double there for a great price and great condition. As a PP said, had to weed through a few scammers. I generally found you could tell from the messages exchanged who was legitimate and who wasn’t.

Ours was immaculate (Bugaboo Ant)
from Marketplace but I was watching a couple on eBay if this one was no good.
Check Gumtree as well.
