Looking for honest opinions/experiences of the rockit pram rocker.

Is this better to buy once baby arrives if its something I feel I would need rather than buying in advance?

As a grandmother... get the rechargable one and not one that requires batteries! It eats them up!

Really useful. I'd buy and look online on Vinted/ marketplace/ eBay to get half the price

I bought one when my baby was about 8 weeks old. Worked like a dream. I think if they're used to falling asleep in the pram, the Rockit just helps to mimic that. I used to switch it on in the last few minutes of a walk if she was asleep. Then once the buggy stopped at home, the Rockit continued and helped keep her asleep.

Thanks for your replies, will have a nosey and see if I can pick up the second hand rechargeable one! We will be out walking plenty. I always remember with DS after a walk or coming out of the car he would wake up the minute we got home due to the movement stopping. Would be nice to get the chance of a cuppa before baby wakes lol so I think it may be a necessary purchase if it give me an extra 5 to myself !

I bought one but used it only for holidays. It seemed to work better on our lightweight pram, probably because it rocks it more. It was great for naps by the pool. I don’t use it day to day though. Definitely not something I couldn’t live without but it does get tempting to just buy every gadget going! Maybe get one on vinted

Just for a balanced perspective, two babies in here and never had one or felt like it was needed. If budget is tight then it might be better to wait and see. If it's not then go for it!

Bought one for my second baby and so far I’ve not found it useful at all. Maybe it’ll have its moment when she’s a bit older but so far it’s not achieved what I hoped. As soon as I stop walking she wakes up or at 30 minutes. Wherever comes first. 🙄 if you can get it second hand though may be worth it. I regret paying 50 quid for it.
