Spotty botty - any advice?

Well I was going to put Arse Acne, because that's what it looks like... Anyway, DS is 3 and recently potty-trained. SInce he got out of nappies he has started getting spots, just like zits, on his buttocks. THey don't seem to bother him, and I have a theory that they might be caused by him sitting on the plastic cover of the kids toilet seat. Has this happened to anyone else's DC and if so how did you treat it?

Bump. Or should that be 'Zit'?

There has been a thread about this before. Nothing better to do (only housework) so will see if I can find it for you....

...off to read what it says now

btw, my DD1 has been out of nappies for a year now and still has these spots - she just uses the ordinary toilet seat now not the plastic booster seat.

Good old Sudacrem does wonders for everything. Also try and let dc go without nappy on for some of the day to let the skin breath a bit, it sometimes helps.

LMT thanks but he is out of nappies and that's how the zittiness seems to have started. BBM thanks, off to read thread.
