Hi everyone

just want to hear your recommendations for what you would order at Nando’s for a 1-2 year old?
my DS used to LOVE Nando’s but we haven’t been ina long while
really looking forward to it!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Wouldn’t order them anything….they can just pick off the adult plates

Depends what he likes but sweet potato wedges, corn on the cob and the tenderstem broccoli are what I tend to order for my son. They do Mac and Cheese as well. I don't tend to bother ordering chicken for him because he's a bit fussy with meat 😅

Could they not have things from.your order at that age? (Soory Im not sure if the child is 1 or 2 - dufferencec in eating ability Order extra - let them have some rice, chomp on some garlic bread and have some chicken breast - keep the seasoning off?

Or there is a kids menu.

They have kids meals with Peri Tamer sauce which is like their version of bbq sauce and really tasty but surely a 1-2 year old hasn’t got an appetite big enough to want their own meal?

Personally I would have them eat from my plate

A kids meal would be a comp, etc waste of money for a 1 to 2 year old….unless the OP is happy to waste money…..far better for them to pick off adult plates and getting a variety of tastes and nutrition

Agree with other posters though, at that age probably better to share your own main and sides with him, I find the portion sizes quite generous at Nandos anyway.

Mine likes the halloumi starter!

The thing I find most perplexing is that they now offer mac and cheese as a a side…but not with the kids meals 🤦‍♀️ it’s an absolute staple on every other kids menu in the country but they don’t offer it so you just have to get it as a full sized side, which is then not included in the kids menu.

They do kids' meals don't they? I'm sure they did when I took my dc when they were young.

DD is 10 and still just picks from our plates! DH has a half chicken with DD and I have a wrap, and we have 4 sides between the 3 of us. We've only just started letting her have a coke instead of a juice box.
