Hi ladies
as my child’s father has left I have to move into my parents home. There’s no room for DDs crib so I need a travel cot.

does anyone know a travel cot that is a comfortable size for 8 month old? I don’t want her feeling too squished as she got to this point in the next to me.

many thanks x x

We had a Graco one that lasted into the toddler years with 2 kids and they slept well in it. If you want a proper cot though, because travel cot mattresses aren’t the comfiest, then you can get compact ones. The ikea singlar is one but I’m sure other companies also make them.

Baby bjorn travel cot is the best! Will last till at least 3yo, is firm and super airy as per safe sleeping rules and can be put up/down in 10 seconds.

Just get it second hand as new ones are a bit expensive.

Have been using ours for over 2 years now and love it!

We have the Joie Allura, which is larger than the typical cot. Our 2 year old is very comfortable in it whenever used.

I’ve got the Nuna sena aire which is lovely but the mattress is hard! We’ve been renovating our house and having to use a travel cot for a few weeks so I ordered a proper mattress on Amazon that fits in there and he sleeps brilliantly on it. That could be an option?

We have the Bugaboo stardust. DS actually used that as his main crib from birth until he was 2 when he moved to a floor bed. It was brilliant and I recommend it to everyone. It folds flat in 2 seconds, doesn't weigh much and has a carry case for storage. HTH!
