What pillow for 3 year old.

We are just about to move our 3 (nearly 4) year old in to a proper bed and wondered what pillow size other parents got for their children?

Do we really need to get him a child's pillow or can we just got with a standard one?

We got a kids duvet and pillow together in a set (single size) and it's a bit flatter than a standard one.

Once in a proper bed with a single duvet, we moved to a normal pillow. I just chose a soft one
