Do you tip at barbers?

I got my 1 year old’s haircut for the first time the other day at the barbers. First time I’ve been in one too! It was £13 and afterwards I thought should I have left a tip!? I didn’t really think about it at the time but wondering what other people do?

£13 for baby’s first haircut? Far too much. No tip needed!

Yes. You'd round up to £15.

Any sensible barber avoids charging a round number that can be paid in cash exactly without resorting to shrapnel. It encourages rounding up.

Well he is nearly 2 so not exactly a baby but yes it’s not the cheapest but the going rate around here! It was a flat rate for all boys I think.
