What to get a 2 year old for their birthday?

My daughter is going to be 2 in September and I'm looking for ideas of what to get her for her birthday.

we usually spend £100-£120 pounds on their gifts and then we go out for the day which I'm still undecided on where to go so ideas for that would be appreciated too.

I have a list of potential ideas which are

2 tonies for her tonie box
a bluey scooter
3 pack of bluey t-shirts
a wooden shape puzzle
a couple of hardback books
a Duplo train
a colouring book

she's really into smurfs of all things but they don't really do Smurf toys anymore but she also likes bluey, (her older sister has all the play sets so no point buying anymore)

and she will get some money from family which is planning on spending on a play kitchen

Yearly pass to animal park...and soft toy from there.
Scooter or balance bike to scoot around her busy life.
Hair ties and clips and a dressing table mirror.
Bubble bath.
Packet cake mix and child sized bowl scraper.
The Wiggles or MikMaks CD and player.

Thankyou both! I have 5 Smurf soft toys currently on their way from Vinted. It's the only place I can seem to find anything

I've finished her birthday gifts now.

I ended up getting her

  • a scootie bug scooter
  • a leapfrog count along till deluxe
  • a Duplo train
  • a toot toot track to go with the play sets
  • and another toot toot car
  • 2 acorn wood books (she loves those)
  • an Iggle piggle tonie for her tonie box
  • and a hedge hog that you put the correct colour little pegs into The coloured holes

i also bought her a pop up tunnel to crawl through but I bought it from Temu and when it came it turned out it was for a cat 🤣🤣 it was tiny.

just thought I'd update this thread incase anyone happens apon in and needed more ideas. Thankyou for suggestions to all who commented

Your gift ideas for your daughter are truly very thoughtful and engaging. Tonies for her Tonie box are great for interactive storytelling, while a Bluey scooter will support active play. Bluey t-shirts are practical and fun if she’s a fan of the show. A wooden shape puzzle and hardback books will help her with problem-solving and literacy skills. A Duplo train encourages imaginative play, and a coloring book makes room for creativity.
For a day out, consider activities like visiting a child-friendly zoo, aquarium, children’s museum, or a park with a playground. These options will make a 2 year old go gaga and let her enjoy the day immensely. Moreover it will be a great memory 10 years down the lane for each one of you!
