How to transition from contact naps to crib?

7 week old enjoys contact naps but not to sleep in his next to me bed. How’s best to try and promote this?

Gosh I wasn’t able to manage this til DS was 7 months old though he would sometimes go in his bassinet in the same room as me for napping til he was 6 months old (they should nap in the same room as you until then). But when he was 7 months I then transitioned him to the cot. Took a while for him to get used to it but was quite life changing at the time!!

I used to settle down with Netflix with a contact nap and my iPhone! Good luck!
