hi everyone i thought id ask on here im planning on taking my 4 month old boy swimming for the first time ive bought swimming nappies and am currently looking at swimming costumes and have opted for a wetsuit so he stays warmer i was just wondering if its okay to take him when it is a normal public/family swim as they run at a time after my partner finishes work and he'd like to join or if it would have to be a parent and toddler session which only happen in the late morning meaning my partner couldn't come
Thankyou!

That's fine, we usually book the "Swim for All" sessions or "Family Fun Swim". The toddler session might have more toys and have fewer older kids splashing, but we also rarely went as it was at an awkward time.
We always use a wetsuit for warmth and also a reusable swim nappy over the disposable swim nappies - our swim class insisted on this as the reusable ones have tighter fit around the leg and waist to contain any accidents. Although I think these days they have a different reusable nappy which means you don't need a disposable swim nappy underneath.
