Hey mums, I'm a first time mum to a little girl and she's getting to that month stage where you start to introduce her to solids and I have no clue where to start and what to do, do I giver her soilds in the morning and then a bottle. I really have no idea how it all works, so if you could please give me advice and tips and just how to start it off because I'm stressing all over it. Thank you x

My top tips are...

Wait until they are 6 months. Their gut isn't ready before and quite frankly it's really hard work.

Have a look at SRNutrition and Dr Kyla for good advice. Your health visitor should also have advice on this.

I personally skipped puree and just did baby led weaning. It eliminated prep time as I just gave appropriate sized pieces of what we were eating. I'd recommend!

I also did baby led weaning and found it completely stress free. I'd recommend Gill Rapley's baby led weaning cookbook

Look at health nut nutrition on youtube. She also has cookbooks and a website!

Charlotte Stirling Read’s ‘How to Wean your Baby’ book is good if you want a detailed plan to follow.
