Toy storage?

Any tips on how to store a 2 year old's toys without everything getting mixed together - I'm thinking toys with lots of bits like Duplo sets and tea sets and play food. Do you keep them in the original box or are there better ways to organise them? I wish everything came in a nice zipped up bag like megablocks!

Could you buy some big zipped bags? Then just keep them in Ikea Kallax units or similar?

We use something like this and put sets in them.

Then for smaller sets use zip lock bags which you can get in various sizes

We have a big kallax with baskets in, we empty stuff into the baskets or keep smaller things eg Orchard Toys games in their boxes but all in one basket. We also have big blanket baskets for Duplo and train tracks and they just sit in the corner of the room.

To avoid using loads of plastic I got some super cheap yarn and made little bags like this (holds a dino jigsaw)

Though obviously this is very time consuming!
