6wo - crying and pooing more

Anyone any experience of this? My 6wo has been grizzly the last two days and has also been pooing constantly. He had been pooing like this at birth but had settle down to once a day the last couple of weeks.

Is it just a coincidence that this change in bowels has happened at the time that crying naturally increases, or has anyone found anything that causes the increased pooing which might also be affecting the crying?

Are they very loose poos? Could be worth looking into cows milk protein allergy and speaking to GP/HV. Colic can also be a side effect of CMPA so could be crying due to gassy/windy bowel discomfort.

My little one cried more at 6 weeks it was a growth spurt. She ate loads and was unsettled for 2-3 days then was back to normal.
