hi , looking some reassurance , first time mum so I already know I’m about to get told it’s only going to get worse ..
i set my 8 month old dd on my bed to get her undressed , stripped her down into her vest and turned my back (didn’t leave the room) to get her clothes that were behind me and next minute I hear a thud and crying , turned around to see her on the floor on her back. Immediately picked her up and she cried for 2 seconds then was fine again , so I’m not sure she got hurt I think she just cried from the shock. It’s vinyl floor so not really hard floor but was a tight space between floor and bed so I’d be more worried she hurt her back rather than head. No bumps or marks I can see and she’s her usual self .. I know she won’t remember but I will and I feel terrible , really really bad mum guilt 😭 should I ring someone or just watch her ?? Any advice or stories of your littles ?

They're probably fine but look at this advice for any signs of concussion.

Unfortunately this happens a lot as babies learn to roll. Most babies are none the worse but injuries can occur.
Now it's happened once you can take steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Get the clothes first, put a pillow alongside etc.
