Baby teething ??

So, my poor little baby (who is just shy of 10 months) has had her four top teeth come in pretty much all at the same time. She’s still dribbling lots and chewing, and the past week we’ve been hit by abit of a “poo” storm. Literally. She’s pooping a lot more than usual although it’s calmed down but still 2/3 times a day and one tends to be in the middle of the night…and each time it’s consisted of mucus. Sometimes a lot. She had a slight temp aswell at the weekend but that’s now gone, and she is very up and down with her moods, up and down with food, and sleep! It’s just been rough and I’m so concerned. Everyone is saying this boils down to teething (dr and HV all been contacted)…but I still can’t help but worry. Did anyone else experience this? And how long did this go on for if you did :-(

thanks all

My DD got mucusy poo and was put down to all the extra dribble causing her intestines to produce more as the dribble irritates it.

That does sound excessive, bless her. Could she have a bit of a tummy bug coinciding with the teething?

They often get ill when teething because of putting everything in their mouth!
When my LO got his top front 2 he had mint sauce green poo, and frequent poos, it did calm down and teeth that have come since then haven’t had the same bad reaction you’ll be pleased to know!

Ahhh thanks all for replying…glad to hear it’s fairly normal (ish!). I deffo think it’s some sort of bug aswell as teething….I’ll have to just wait it out and hope it clears soon, such fun!
