Snap tags for labelling clothes - have tried stickers and stamps

DC starting primary this year.

For nursery, we've used Stickins stickers which were great at first but quite a few ended up coming off in the wash. Then moved to stamps which again were fine initially but then went quite blurry after a few washes.

I definitely don't want to sew or iron. Are the snap tags things any good? Or should I just do stickers or stamps and resign myself to redoing part way through the year?

We’ve had good success with Stikins. Virtually none have come off. Where are you sticking them? they stick best to the care label IME (not very convenient for nursery staff to check the name. but at least they stay on). You do have to hold them on for a few seconds when applying.

Have been sticking to the care label and holding on. Maybe I got a bad batch!

I really didn't like the snap on things. Binned the lot.

Hmm how annoying!

I’ve never tried the snap tags, my kids are quite fussy about labels so think they would find these irritating.

I use my nametags stickers and they dont come off

We wrote on the labels with Sharpie and that was surprisingly robust. Not as convenient but might be less annoying than things getting lost/losing their labels?

Sharpie is the only thing that’s ever worked. It’s easy and cheap too.
