Hi
my daughter blows hot and cold with food. Some days she eats like a trooper and then other days will only eat fruit!

I am looking for some advice from seasoned parents.
how do I get her to eat green vegetables?

how do I get her to eat meat?

thanks

Toddlers are like that. Feast or famine. Don't worry about it. Imagine someone was breathing down your neck to eat when you just don't feel like much.

Eat as a family and set a good example. Serve her what you're having (unsalted, prepared to minimise choking hazards- see Solid Starts app) and just let her get on with it.

Don't overload her plate. Toddlers often like way less than adults can accurately judge. If you think there's not enough on her plate, put less on. Honestly. If you have bowls on the table with different elements of the meal she can ask for more if she wants it. Too much on the plate can overwhelm them.

You put the food out, she decides which bits to eat and how much. My son picks the kidney beans out of his chilli. That's fine. At least it's full of tomatoes and onions and carrots and so on. He's allowed to pick those bits out. And if he wants extra cheese or sour cream it's there on the table for him.
