Summer

Just wanna see if it's not just me lol so schools finished today, does any other parent just feel pressure to give their kids the best summer. I have a 10 year old and a 2 year old so it is pretty hard to go places that will keep them both happy.

(I have really bad anxiety and struggle to leave the house, I would happily have lazy days all summer with colouring books, chalks and paints etc) but when I go on social media I see people at the beach, soft plays, theme parks, holidays. I'm gonna try and plan two or three places a week with them to see if this helps me, I just want my older daughter to go back to school thinking I had the best summer ever and we did this and that, but what is there to do that doesn't cost a bloody arm and a leg 🥲

Social media pressure.

Kids need to have some chill days too, without them probably realising it.

I tend to do 2/3 outings also, on down days, we tend to go to the park and stuff like that.

Check your local libraries, they sometimes have free stuff on. Also your local council.
