Clothes for baby in heatwave

Is just a short sleeve vest enough when the room is 22 degrees for a 4month old?
The charts seem to suggest more clothes but she usually wears vest and sleepsuit and tucked in cellular blanket that she always kicks out of and room usually 17-18 degrees.
im in a nightie and sheet so not cold.

Does she feel warm enough if you touch the top of her chest?

22 degrees isn’t hot so at that temperature mine usually wears a vest and 1 tog sleeping bag, he’d be too cold in just a short sleeved vest. But depends on your baby, she’ll probably keep waking up if she’s too cold.

I put my 5 month old in a sleepsuit with no vest underneath and no blanket on hot nights, so her arms n legs/feet are covered but not too many layers xx

At that temp I'd put DD in a sleepsuit and 1 tog sleepbag (20-22 degrees). She's 5 months also. Whilst it's hotter at the moment, she is sleeping in a romper only with short sleeves / legs or a sleeveless bodysuit. Our room is currently 27-28 degrees and we are struggling to cool it down but she seems fine with just a romper or bodysuit and isn't getting too warm when I check her.

Thanks, advice was correct! LO kept waking uo and I had to add a footless babygrow then the next hot night a 1 tog sleeping bag(as only have one light babygrow) .
