I'm absolutely panicking
Just been in to check on my two year old as I do every night. His gro egg says it 27 degrees in his room. He's only wearing his nappy and a light 0.5 tog sleep sack. I've opened his window a little tiny bit to let some air in but I'm.nkt terrified his room is too hot and he something bad will happen to him from being too hot. I'm also worrying tonight will be the night he learns how to get out of his cot and he will climb up to the window and fall out. Please someone reassure me that he will be fine and won't get heat exhaustion..I don't have a fan I can put in his room either. Debating whether to just go in and sleep on his floor so I can make sure he is okay

First rule with kids is if you want to sleep on his floor that's fine. You're allowed to be a fusspot in ways that won't harm them!

Have you a travel cot than you can use downstairs? It's often cooler.

If not and you have to stay upstairs, I'd take of the sleep bag off and yes, I'd also sleep in the room too.
