Preschool vaccinations - side effects?

DS is 3.5 and had his jabs yesterday morning. He was right as rain when I dropped him to preschool afterwards and later in the day when I collected him. Then in the middle of the night he was sick and had a high temp, then today he's been very hot and lethargic, sleeping on the sofa.

Are these side effects normal? I've been giving him calpol which has helped with the temp, and he hasn't been sick again, but haven't read anything about vomiting being a side effect!

Yes the MMR usually makes them feel unwell for the first 1-3 days then potentially another couple of days around 10 days and 3 weeks post vaccines. My daughter got the measles rash on day 10 both times she has the mmr but was fine at 3weeks
