What does your baby sleep in in this heat

We are in the midlands, england. And with the weather being so warm all of a sudden im just wonder what others dress their little ones in at bedtime. Our 1yo twins are currently in a nappy and a thin tshirt but they are still very sweaty.. would a nappy be enough? (ftm)

It’s not actually that hot here (south), certainly under 20 degrees, DS is same age and in long sleeve vest and his 2 tog sleeping bag and seems to be fine. On much warmer night he wears a vest and muslin thickness sleeping bag (you can buy them online).

Are they in sleep sacks? Do you have a thermometer showing the room temp?

My 2yo is in nappy, footless pjs (long leg and sleeve though) and a 1 tog sleepsack, with window open and fan. He's fine.

Horrible saying but helps me gauge things: a cold baby cries, a hot baby dies. Better to start with fewer layers and add back on if baby lets you know they are cold.

@reabies they usually sleep in 0.5 sleep sacks but they have been so sweaty so taken them out of them and just put a thin t shirt and nappy on no covers. The window is open but blinds are down and door is open. Thermometer says 28 in there, it does feel very warm.
