I could frame them but that's a lot of frames all over the house.
What's a better way?

When mine were little the latest went on the fridge with the previous one relegated to the box that also contained various paintings and associated shit from school.

I got one of those display folders that have A4 plastic pockets inside. Also used it for any other certificates etc.

I found that worked best for me as they dont take up much room and it’s easy to buy more. My DC used to enjoy looking through it (adults now).

I did start off sewing the badges on the swimming towel until the towel got left behind after a lesson and never materialised.

Certificates all went into a little folder/presentation book. They each had one to hold anything they’d ‘won’. Headteachers awards/proud certificates, GCSE results etc. Badges were sewn onto their towel, same as badges for cubs etc went onto a blanket.

ilovepixie · 23/06/2024 16:44

When I was a child the badges were sewn into the swimming costume

SundayTulips · 23/06/2024 16:45

Recycle them….

TeenDivided · 23/06/2024 16:46

Sew badges to swim towel.

Certificates in wallets in lever arch file with all similar things from school etc.

Doesn't everyone leave them in random drawers around the house for 30 years?

PuttingDownRoots · 23/06/2024 16:50

O stopped buying them as DDs weren't actually interested.. they enjoyed the ice cream they got instead!

socks1107 · 23/06/2024 16:50

🤣🤣. I have boxes in my attic with things from my school days....I'm 60!!

Presentation folder is a good idea.

Don't want the towel lost and swimwear gets grown out of.

Well everyone jokes about the burgundy coloured National Record of Achievement off of the 90s but at least we had somewhere to put our swimming certificates 🤣

Each boy has a drawer in the filing cabinet. In there.
