Hello, is it ok that my 6 month old feels clammy in the heat? I've definitely not overdressed her but I didn't think babies got like this. I'm confused 🫤

What are you dressing baby in, in the day and night ?

They shouldn't really feel clammy, that does suggest too many layers.

What are they wearing/sleeping in? Any chance it's a fever/temperature?

Rose1999 · 23/06/2024 08:37

She's only wearing a sleeveless vest and no signs of illness

Just keep the room cool, and make sure she’s drinking plenty/wet nappies.

Cheeesus · 23/06/2024 08:42

What temperature is the room?

CadyEastman · 23/06/2024 10:24

Are you keeping a window open OP?

What covers does she have over her and what's the room temperature?

Rose1999 · 23/06/2024 10:26

No window open. Room was about 21 degrees and she had a 0.5 tog bag at night x

Personally I'd keep the window open a little. Ours can be be left open but still locked. Do you have that facility?

Not saying that's why she was clammy, I just think it's more healthy to have some fresh air circulating so the humidity is reduced Wink
