More kids after twins

I have 6 yo twins and before now I never wanted another child.

I was depressed and miserable before I had the twins (I had lost my job and was bitter). They changed my life for the better.

I'm mid 30s and want another. I never thought I would have this urge again but I realised how much joy they bring to my life, they make you motivated to make more money, they are amazing humans.

Just make sure you can afford another set of twins, just in case!

Go for it.

I've got two year old twins and can't think of anything worse, but do understand that they must get easier as they get older. My biggest fear I suppose would be having a second pair of twins....do you think you'd be okay with that? It changes the whole dynamic. A family of 6 is significantly harder financially, emotionally and even practically.
You'd need a much larger car.
Would your house accommodate more kids?
Holidays will be harder to arrange.
Trying to find activities that suit 8-9 year olds and 2 year olds would be difficult.

Also what if any of your children were to have additional needs on top of everything else?

You need to do a pros and cons list I think!

I think I could. You would just cope and also it would make you more determined to get a better job to pay for everything (and my husband).

Re disabilities, my kids could step out into the road tomorrow and become disabled.

i am not sure you should have kids to act as a career motivator ! Sounds a strange way of putting it. though I totally get the desire for more children.

We have teens and a 3 year old and 2 year old twins and I wouldn't change a thing and the only thing stopping me is we can manage financially and more would over stretch. I adore being a mum and not saying it wasn't hard and still is occasionally but ye I had our youngest 3 at 37 and 38 and I'm now 39 lol
